Plane’s Wiki is a place to store and share company-wide information. Unlike project pages that focus on specific work, the Wiki helps you create documentation that matters to everyone in the organization.

What makes Wiki useful​

The Wiki works best for content that goes beyond a single project:
  • Company policies
  • Onboarding materials
  • Technical guides
  • Organizational knowledge
Where project pages zoom in on team-specific details, the Wiki gives you a bird’s-eye view of your company’s information.

How to access Wiki​

  1. Go to the Pages tab in your workspace.
  2. You’ll see three sections:
    • Public pages: Visible to all team members
    • Private pages: Restricted access
    • Archived pages: Historical documents
  3. Creating a new page is straightforward:
    • Click New Page in the sidebar.
    • Choose if the page will be public or private.
    • Start writing your content
  4. Need to find something quick? Use the sidebar’s search function to locate specific pages or information.
